Kaemin Tosasuk

UCLA Program Director

Kaemin is a sophomore studying Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics, and is the founder of the UCLA Chapter of USVH. After witnessing the lack of student engagement with veterans during his first year at UCLA, Kaemin was determined to help create a culture of serving veterans on campus. Through USVH, he hopes to inspire undergraduate students to support their local veteran communities in order to serve those who have served. Outside of USVH Kaemin is a medical scribe at an urgent care facility, a volunteer teaching high school students basic biomedical lab techniques, and the social and philanthropy chair of Zeta Phi Rho multicultural fraternity. In his free time, Kaemin enjoys playing Warzone, watching UFC, and is an avid sleeper.

Brenden Gregorio

Administrative Director

Brenden is a senior studying Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology at UCLA and is a co-founder of USVH’s UCLA Chapter. As a son, grandson, and nephew of disabled Navy veterans, Brenden strongly resonates with advocating for veterans’ health issues, many of which directly affect his loved ones. Through USVH, he hopes to empower the local veteran community by engaging in critical discussions with like-minded students and encouraging them to adopt a service-oriented, veteran-centric mindset. Beyond USVH, Brenden is a research intern at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, a medical assistant at a COVID-19 screening site, an outreach volunteer at Family Health Centers of San Diego, and the secretary of the multicultural fraternity Zeta Phi Rho. In his free time, Brenden enjoys weightlifting, snowboarding, and, most importantly, napping.

Shaan Londhe

Director of Issue and Advocacy

Shaan is a sophomore studying Business Economics at UCLA and is one of the founding members of the UCLA USVH Chapter. After learning about veterans’ experiences, he wanted to be part of an organization that would give veterans acknowledgement for their service and sacrifices, and he firmly believes in unconditionally serving those who have served. Throughout his time in USVH, Shaan has gotten the opportunity to connect with veterans and different organizations to spread the word about veterans’ health issues through the outreach program. Aside from academics and his work at USVH, Shaan is an avid tennis player, drummer, and finance enthusiast. He is always happy to strike up a conversation about stocks, the professional tennis tour, or classic rock bands of the ‘70s and ‘80s.

Jacob Pham

Volunteer Coordinator

Jacob is a sophomore studying Psychobiology and he is one of the founding members of the USVH Chapter @ UCLA. One of Jacob’s favorite parts of USVH has been sharing his passion for helping and spreading more awareness for Veteran’s Health whether that in the form of weekly presentations or conducting outreach for the USVH panel. Outside of working hard for USVH, Jacob is a research assistant for the UCLA Semel Institute of Neuroscience, member of the UCLA Student Alumni Association (SAA), and an avid member of his IM basketball team.

Sally Kim

Finance Director

Sally is a sophomore studying Biology and she is one of the founding members of USVH’s UCLA Chapter. During high school, she volunteered in a hospital where she formed relationships with elderly people, some of whom were veterans. This experience was truly rewarding and special to her, which is what sparked her interest in being a part of USVH. Through this organization, she hopes to spread awareness about veterans’ experiences and give back to those who served for us. Outside of school and USVH, Sally enjoys baking, going on hikes, and training her dogs with her sister.

Christiana Prekopa

Communications Director

Christiana is a second year studying Neuroscience with a minor in Conservation Biology and is one of the founding members of the USVH chapters at UCLA. She currently serves as the Communications Director for UCLA’s USVH. Christiana became interested in USVH after talking with veterans on a veterans’ Honor Flight and her cousin recently enlisting in the marines. Outside of USVH, Christiana also works as a Health Scholar at Mission Hospital and is an intern at UCLA’s Neuroscience Undergraduate Society. In her free time, Christiana enjoys going to the beach to dive and spearfish, as well as baking desserts.

Pranav Kadiyala

Director of Special Events

Pranav is a freshman studying Neuroscience at UCLA and the current Director of Special Events for USVH @ UCLA. Prior to joining, he spent two summers volunteering and shadowing at various wings of the VA Palo Alto, and gained a broadened understanding about the veteran community, along with a deep appreciation for who veterans are. He hopes to continue to learn more about veterans and the VA while spreading awareness about relevant issues we can all work to change.

Kaitlyn Jang

Education Coordinator

Kaitlyn is a sophomore studying psychology and is an education coordinator for USVH at UCLA. Her interest to join USVH stemmed from the time she spent volunteering at adult day care centers for elderly people with Alzheimers. Many of the people she talked with were veterans who told various stories about their experiences, and she wanted to become involved in helping veteran patients directly. Aside from her studies and USVH, Kaitlyn enjoys going to the beach, making music, and trying new food.

Doreen Liu

Outreach Coordinator

Doreen is a sophomore studying Biology at UCLA and is one of the outreach coordinators for USVH at UCLA. Doreen is also a part of the Air Force ROTC program at UCLA. Her experiences with Air Force ROTC and her interests in healthcare made her want to learn more about Veteran’s Health and fueled her desire to serve the local veteran community with other like-minded students. In her free time, Doreen enjoys cooking and playing tennis.
